A safe place for whatever you're carrying.
Everyone carries something — a hurt that hasn't healed, a habit that's hard to break, a hang-up that keeps showing up. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery group where you can bring that into the open, sit with people who get it, and take real steps toward healing. Starting Wednesday, January 6, 2027, at E91.

What is Celebrate Recovery?
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program used by churches around the world. It's built around eight principles based on Jesus' teaching and twelve steps toward healing. Grief, anxiety, addiction, unhealthy relationship patterns — if it's a hurt, habit, or hang-up standing between you and the life God has for you, this group is built for it.
Each week starts together — a shared meal, worship, and a short teaching or testimony — then moves into smaller groups organized by gender and by what people are working through. Those smaller groups are where the real conversation happens.
You don't need a history with E91 or with Celebrate Recovery to walk in. Just come as you are.
Path to Launch
Celebrate Recovery officially starts January 6, 2027, but there's a lot happening between now and launch night.
Celebrate Recovery 101 is a brief, welcoming introduction to the Celebrate Recovery ministry—designed to help newcomers understand what CR is, why it exists, and how it can support their healing journey.
Celebrate Recovery volunteer training equips every member of the team—greeters, worship leaders, tech support, small‑group leaders, meal teams, and more—to serve with consistency, compassion, and alignment to CR’s Christ‑centered DNA.

What are Hurts, Habits and Hangups?
You may think that recovery is only for those with alcohol or drug problems. This could not be further from the truth. Celebrate Recovery mentions “recovery from life’s hurts, hang-ups and habits.” But what does this mean? A hurt, habit, or hang-up is something in you or your life that hinders your walk with God and others. THESE LIFE PROBLEMS CAN BE STUMBLING BLOCKS OR STEPPING STONES! If you struggle with one or more of the effects defined in the following, Celebrate Recovery can offer a solution of healing for you.
To experience physical pain caused by yourself or another; to feel emotional pain; to undergo or experience difficulties or setbacks. The feeling of being hurt is an emotional reaction to another person’s behavior or to a disturbing situation - (e.g., abuse, abandonment, codependency, divorce, relationship issues, etc.)
Regular, repeated behavior pattern. An action or pattern of behavior that is repeated so often that it becomes typical of somebody, although he or she may be unaware of it. Addiction, such as an addiction to a drug, food, or some other stimulus that deadens one’s feelings. A habit is an addiction to someone or something (e.g., alcohol dependency, drugs, food, gambling, sex, shopping, smoking, etc.).
Healing and growth are possible by applying the principles of Celebrate Recovery to your life!
A psychological or emotional problem or fixation on something. An issue that causes persistent impediment or source of delay. Hang-ups are negative mental attitudes that are used to cope with people or adversity (e.g., anger, depression, fear, unforgiveness, etc.)
Get Involved
Serve on the Launch Team Celebrate Recovery runs on people who show up — to lead a small group, greet someone walking in for the first time, or just be a steady presence in the room. If you've walked this road yourself, or you simply want to help someone else walk it, there's a place for you on the team.
